Dear Friends,
I was wondering why we are asked to be joyful (seen some prayers online) when we hurt horribly, terribly and sometimes we can't move because of pain. And can't deal with the hurt in our bodies at times and there's no relief. That's me. Didn't Jesus suffer horribly on the Cross and asked if God could please take the cup from Him before then? So, my question is this:
Why are we suppose to be joyful in suffering? Oh and if we are, is it suppose to be physical or mental or both that we're suppose to be happy and joyful in pain and suffering? Because right now, I could drive a nail in my foot and it wouldn't hurt anymore than what I'm feeling right now in my body.
Thoughts? And thank you for your responses in advance.
~I want to apologize for saying over and over how much I hurt. I'm using me as an example to my question and I know others that hurt as well and to those people, I'm sorry~
