Monday's show for Pro-Choice callers

Great topic, but the show kinda got frustrated by trying to walk the callers through Q&A analogies which sort of degenerated into a confusing interchange. Instead of asking questions to the callers, just ANSWER the question clearly and succinctly.

Also, if someone asks what should be the penalty if abortion were to become illegal, the answer is simple:
1) The woman should be given medical attention, being that abortion is not a medical procedure, but rather does violence to a woman's body.

2) The woman should be told the truth that abortion actually kills a human being. Women who have abortions are told that the conception is not a human life. Long term psychological counseling should also be made available for women who have had abortions. The realization of destroying one's own child is a painful experience.

3) Doctors who perform abortions should lose their "medical" license, fined severely, and tried for killing a human being. Fines should go directly to fund adoption agencies.
Furthermore, taxpayer money which currently funds Planned Parenthood abortion mills should be switched over to promote, fund and support adoption agencies. In the case of a conception resulting from rape, the woman should have full medical, psychological counseling and financial support through the birth of the little boy or girl, who would be given up for adoption.

Reality Check

The reality of the matter is that abortion will never become illegal until society itself demands that it become illegal. Consequently, the problem with legal abortion falls squarely on the shoulders of Catholic bishops, who are the appointed "overseers"of the local Catholic flock.

Today, Catholics abort their children at the same rate as everyone else. Today, a majority of Catholics support pro-abortion leaders. Today, the vast majority of Catholics practice the use of artificial contraception. Today, pro-abortion Catholic politicians don't even get a slap on the wrist by their local Catholic bishop.

The problem is that Bishops haven't strongly, consistently, and courageously taught, explained and PREACHED the Church's teaching against the evils of artificial contraception and Abortion. If Bishops don't do it, then neither will their priests. We need more than a handful of bishops and priests. If the majority of the Bishops don't preach about it, then the majority of Priests won't preach about it. If the Priest don't preach about it, then the Laity won't hear it, know it, or even ponder the thought of practicing it.

I often encounter Catholics who had no idea that the sue of artificial birth control is a grave sin.

It also seems somewhat of a joke to suddenly hear all the outrage among Catholic bishops about the coming HHS mandate that will require Catholic hospitals and institutions to cover artificial birth control in their medical insurance. Look behind you Bishops--who's following you??Most Catholics don't even know it is a sin--and only small number of strong Catholics practice this teaching.

If artificial birth control and abortion are such terrible things (which they are) then ALL the Bishops and Priests should have been screaming about it loud and clear. Unfortunately, the widespread use of artificial contraception has for decades laid the foundation to most society's ills today. The violence, the injustices, the miseries which plague today's Culture of Death all have their root in the widespread proliferation and use of artificial contraception. There's a reason why 80% of people in prison today come from broken families with no father figures.

If only a majority of Catholics were living up to their faith, this world would be a different place. Thus, to those to whom much was given, much will be required. Learn the faith, live the faith, and share the faith. Catholics are wealthy in terms of having access to the treasure of Sanctifying Grace through the Sacraments. Catholics have the truth, the grace, and the responsibility to live and to share the truth.

Every bishop in the Catholic Church should be given one of these for Christmas:

To understand why the use of artificial contraception is at the heart of many of society's ills, sit back and listen to these short talks:
