While the election is over, and we all voted with well-formed consciences, I wonder if some of us might have voted differently if we knew this was coming?

Let us all pray that charity remains in our Church and in our hearts, and does not get relegated to another a government-sponsored entitlement program.
While no doubt many of us donate wealth without regard for a tax deduction, and would continue to do so, some donors might very well be dissuaded to help as much, if the tax code provides no incentive.
Does it seem that the White House simply does not respect our charitable and religious institutions?
