More than 31,000 Americans have signed a petition calling for British TV host Piers Morgan to be deported.
They are angry about his advocacy of gun control, in the wake of the 14 December shootings in Connecticut.
Obviously the rest of the world finds the American obsession with guns and the periodic slaughters of innocent people to be very strange, but Piers Morgan is nevertheless a very unpleasant person. He was sacked from his job as a newspaper editor in the UK after his newspaper published faked photographs of alleged torture by British troops in Iraq:
