for all on Christmas Day

For all the many prayer inentions posted here and for all the desires of hearts on this day when old love as well as ancient hositilities come into play in so many families and between friends, I pray:

Our Father, who art in Heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil. Amen


Hail Mary, full of grace
the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Blessed Virgin, as you gather the flowers of your virginity with joy and hold the infant Jesus in your arms for all time, Queen of Heaven, let Love be present to all on this precious and blessed day in whatever distresses we may face as let us find joy in the Blessed Fruit of thy womb Jesus, born today some 2000 years ago, remembering Him in His life on Earth and the Hope and healing he brought.

In whatever sorrows we may face today as every day, let us find healing, joy, the perfection of Heaven come to earth.
