I've been reading a lot of threads here about scapulars, miraculous medals, etc. In many of the threads, there are stories of people putting these items on an affected part of their body and being cured.
How is this not against church teaching about what these items are or should be used for? Why don't more people (more knowledgeable than I) point out this error in these threads?
