2008 saw "Obamagirl" professing her loyalty to her candidate in a video.
Olivia Newton-John sang a song called "Let's get Physical" and "worked out" in a video.
Paul Ryan had a still picture taken of him pumping iron with his biceps.
And now ... from youTube to FoxNews "Paul Ryan Girl's" satire is making the rounds.

No mention is made of people who "lost their shirts" in the present bad economy ...
but a comic Obama-like poster of Ryan's head labelled "Antidote" where Obama's had "Hope" - and another muscular, shirtless, "Ryan poster" serve as props for the dancing, singing, speechifying "Ryan Girl".

On Fox, the girl, Meredith Walker, eschews an ACTUAL crush and declares the "love song?" aspect of the video mocks previous ones of this genre and means no disrespect to Ryan's marriage -- "or to his lovely wife Janna ..." The comedy video features a phony beefcake muscle poster with Ryan's head on it -- though, like Sarah Palin who was similarly "victimized" by being depicted in a bathing suit four years ago -- the Vice Presidential candidate IS fit and has been known to do the grueling P90X workout.

About as "racy" as a 1960s "Beach Party" movie at its peak (but with more clothing),
Walker's self-promoting gimmick might help the Romney-Ryan ticket in the youth demographic - as Obamagirl's video theoretically did for her candidate. Mc Cain had no similar tribute to Obamagirl's.

Walker mimics Olivia Newton-John's MTV video, popular in the Reagan years.
